Something happened yesterday where it probably sounds like no big deal but after witnessing it, it really made me think. A lot.So two other classmates and I were called down to meet with one of our teachers and on our way back up to class two guys came up to my guy friend. Basically what happened is they took him by the neck, and I guess tried to ob him. I had to witness something.. like this? Why. It really bothered me the fact that I didn't end up doing anything, and I really regret it. But I was scared. My other friend told us to just pretend we didn't see anything, this is something I couldn't do. I ended up talking to him, and I'm less worried now. The thing is this guy right here is I'd have to say one of the chillest people I've encountered, he's a goon look type guy but is friggen genius. And just as a friend, seeing him get hurt, really hurt me.

I took a lot out of this though, the fact that the world is not as happy as you want it to be, things happen. People do stupid things to hurt other people. People do things, to hurt other people. I don't understand why, and I never will. I try to think of all the possibilities and its pretty crazy. I thought, maybe they tried to take it out on my friend because it happened to them? But just being able to witness this tiny event, made me realize how many other corrupt, horrible things people can do to other. Call me naive, but I'll never let go of the question of why can't people just get along. It's complicated. I have so much more to say. Even the people I hang with probably do this to others too, but I don't know. I could never do something to someone. It's just horrible. What has society taught us these days that the thought of even doing these things have to exist in their minds? Why, why why why. I have so much more to learn, I know. But I'm ready for it.

What is it with me? I really don't know I constantly have people telling me how much of a ''down to earth, chill, and talented'' humble person I am. Yet I always make myself think that I'm never good enough. I am true to myself I can say that for a fact, I just seem to lack a lot of confidence at times. This is why I do things like dance and sing, because when I do, it makes me feel so good about myself.

The way I think may be very different compared to many teenage girls, I think like this. All I need is my family and friends. I went to listen to a holocaust survivor today, and his story was just amazing. He couldve died through 7 events , almost shot, drowned, and caught. But he survived it all , I think God saved him for a reason, so that he could do what he did to me today . Share his story, and just amaze people . Thinking of how clever he was to get through it , Im just so damn thankful of my life, its not perfect but who the hell needs perfect, lifes just been treatin me so well . Its just sad that so many people dont get realize it , if people did, the world wouldnt be so fucked like it is now.

it was the beginning of christmas break and today was simply amazinggg,

Started off at school with our dance performance which was sooo much fun . the j'la soul fam, you guys are the friggen best. It was my first ever official dance performance, and to be able to perform, it was indescribable. I think that even though we only performed for those few minutes, and went through all that soreness and practice, it was so worth it.

after the dance we were hungryyyyy, and decided to go to asian buffet for some foood , that was live . it feels good to go out and eat with friends, i think ill do it more often .

the ended off with the tgif crew, and we did the most retarded thing, but it was so jokes. the video, jam session, webcam pictures, toooo live. But hey , did i mention that i love my friends ?

its funny because yesterday i was having such a bad day , im telling you . it only gets better .

today i visited a seniors home where i was able to sing for the old folks. i was able to see what life was like for them. i was pretty down while i was there, because it reminded me of my grandma . the one who was in a wheelchair in the back right corner. i felt so happy to be able to add that tiny bit of cheer into those seniors holiday. it looks like it would really suck of my children were to just throw me into a senors home, id be so sad and lonely : (

Words cannot expresss how much fun I had at camp man . Being able to lead some pretty cool niners, most of all omg the amazing amazing amazing-ly beautiful sunrise and night sky filled with stars . Flip man, i had a blast . So many moments stood out , I was able to bond with people Id never meet , there was some hot camp staff tooo b . A moment that stood out though , was this boy named Kareem , i still remember . You know when kids think theyre all big infront of everyone right ? well this boy was somewhat like this but there was the zipline and he was sooo scared. It was adorablee ! [ this other boy, his friend was like , "yo are you dumb, im not going up there i dont wanna die . bullshit etc. ] But yeah Kareem went up , lmaoo he was so cutee coming off. " yoo that was wicked, im so happy i faced my fears ! " Im so happy he did too . I wish I could see more of this around. I dont know if its that big of a thing , but for some reason , it was for me . Im so ecstatic that I was able to go down to camp this year man .

I just got back from the filipinos makin waves~ where I got to meet and see GLP perform ! Gabe Bondoc is sucha cutie , and his voice is amazing. Leejay, is the shit , his beatboxing is amazing. what can i say, the first year of highschool absolutely amazing, the people ive met, the people ive gotten closer with , and all the expiriences made . im gonna be a tenner ALREADY. like honestly this year went by TOO fast . and there will be new niners at johnson next year .

ugh exams, just got the first one done only 4 more to go, lets do it . i just wanna thank god for making such amazing people be part of my highschool life .

update : variety night went great :)

friday afterschool went to orfus with adisha and couldnt find anything for a friends birthday . NOTHING. why is it that everytime im with this girl, the craziest things happen.

story: the first time around we were on the subway and it stopped /blackout for like 10 minutes. scary no? second time we got onto the wrond wrong cart where we met a scary old man who apporached us :\ scary no? lastnight, about 2 whole subways were forced to get off at st. georges . it was ALOT of people. and so we had to take a whole detour. what a night. i lvoe this girl <3

most inspiring guest speaker came into my school the other day and his speech left me.. speechless.

he tells an amazing story about an african boy Richard, who was playing soccer back at home. until a bunch of soldiers come and stop him and his friends, hanging them all on a bunch of veins. they cut each of the kids and insert crack into there blood. as the kids are still hallucinating, and this boy was then blindfolded by the soldiers, a gun was put into his hands and the soldiers screamed making him panic. and so he shot, he took off his blind fold and at that moment he realized he had just shot his best friend, at the age of 5 .

after his father had past away he was put in charge to be the man of the house. that night he heard gunshots he was afraid and ran under his bed, but remembered what his father had told him. he ran out and was forced to watch his mom and sister get assaulted.

the best part that stuck with me, let me quote " Richard now goes to UFT, you may walk right past him and not know that he went through all this. Because hes not wearing a shirt that says ' i am hurt," Its the exact same thing , with anyone you walk by in the hall . You dont know whats going on in their lives, or what they go through. So why dont you stop hating and start spreading more love around. Make someones day that much better.

alright, so today the school found out that the secretary's husband had past away suddenly of a heart stroke. SUDDENLY.

heres the story though, shes pretty old and
has been with him for like 50 years.
she was planning on retiring this year,
to spend her summer with the man , but now..
he gone. just like that.
she must be going through some tough shit right now,
& i dont know what i would do if i were her.
all i can do is keep her in my prayers and tell you people :

to cherish what you have, because you never know what youve lost till its gone. damn straight.

dunnoe, johnson dance crew took second place in this years dance off at notre dame.
which was fuckin livee as hell.
hot guys dancing, and there to support johnson .
the subway ride was jokess with them,
after that we went to go eat somee Pho , yes PHO :)

wow, and so i've seen alot happen this week, keyword seen.
the thing is im not the one involved, i wish i could do more to help ,
but even so the same questions run around in my head,
what is wrong with people, how can you pretend to love/like someone and just hurt them in the end like that ?
yes everyone has there reasons, you could at least tell the truth.
notice im not being sexist about this, even though its the guys fault in these situations.
I just wish people could be more honest , and careful with others feelings .
God, just help me, help them to not be angry , because everything happens for a reason, yes everything happens for a reason. theres the end to it but just think of the happy times you've shared. even though it may be lies.

I seriously dont even have the right to be talking, because me out of all people have not gone through anything/relationships before. And so, i wonder why people can come and talk to me about things. I just thank God that people can talk to me about such personal things.

Sometimes i wish i could just switch places with them, and see how they feel.

Thursday, April 2nd - Thursday, April 9th

Cousins from London, England came to visit.
I had an amazing time, knowing that I have not one cousin in Canada,
and so i barely see them.
They were only here for a week, and left Thursday morning ,
my 7 year old cousin left a video message saying
"I'll miss you guyss" in her baby voice. T_T
I friggen miss you karen.
And Steven im not gonna forget the time you kicked me in the face, tsk tsk. I love you guys.
